Order a haipad from Lazada, get an IRobot II?

I ordered a haipad 7" with a physical keyboard, all for P3,000.00 (P2,999 to be exact!) from Lazada.com. I received the order today just after 2 PM. got the shock of my life when I read that I got a I.Robot II instead.From the box, it says OS Android 4.2, capacitive multi-touch and 16 Gbytes(need to verify the capacity) internal memory. It can accommodate an extra or external SDCARD with up to 32 Gbytes.


The camera is just like those found on cellphones, the image is very low resolution, having only _???_(still to be determined) Megapixels, But it has also a front facing camera!t mi Wow.

I need more time with this, but I am lending it to my brother since I am busy with my Samsung Tab 2 7.0" tablet. I will post more results with this inexpensive tablet. They should tell customers that they are getting an I.Robot II not a Haipad brand on their mini tablet.

Free up main memory by installing sdcard in slot in Samsung Tab 2

My Samsung tab 2 has only 8Gbytes internal memory and I am not going to wait till it is full! So I filled up the empy sdcard slot with a spare 32 Gbytes SDHC micro card. You wont go wrong since there is a drawing of the right orientation of the SD card at the back of the case!

Use the MyFiles app. Id rather copy directories than individual files to the external SD card now named extSdCard.

I already have an hp48 emulator for my Motorola phone Fire XT. Yet I cannot bring mysself to explore the capabilities of the emulator for the buttons were too small and
I found myself hitting neighboring buttons.

Add photos to an existing Facebook album from Samsung tab 2.

I did it the hard way, using the browser, a familiar application in the desktop but this method is masochistic. To upload multiple files conveniently Facebook, the Tab 2 default browser asked to install the Adobe Flash Installer and there is no Flash Player for the Tab2!

I google search for how to create Facebook albums from Samsung tab 2. The best answer I found is from Android Central.This page also tells you how to add photos to an existing album.

How to do a screengrab in Tab 2 7in

Apple did it perfectly on the original Ipad 1. It is strange that my Samsung Tab 2 7in cannot do it consistently.In the latter tablet, you press the power button then the volume Down control button and hold them long enough until a notification "Copied to Clipbboard" or "Saving Screenshot" appears that you have saved the screen to the clipboard,

Yesterday night, that appears to be working, but as I write this, the key presses do not work! That key press combintation turned off the tablet! Ah well, enough for us to record our failure... If any reader has a consistent mathod to do a screen grab, please tell us how to do it in the comments. Thank you.

If at first it does not work within 2 seconds, RELEASE then REDO.

It seemed to work again. The image is saved to the clipboard.The files are stored under the directory /storage/sdcard0/Pictures/Screenshots.

We have a new Samsung Tab 2 7" tablet to explore!

You can have an NX-1000 and a Samsung Tab 2 7" tablet all for 31,000 pesos! I dont know whether this is really a bargain, since the camera is currently selling at 350 USD,exactly half of its introductory price! The tablet is just the right size, neither too large nor too small. Compared with my original Ipad, it is light and has front (3 Megapixel VGA) and back (5.1 megapixels) cameras.Unfortunately, no LED Flashbulb! The tablet came with a skimpy tiny booklet "quick start guide" which is not so essential.

The first thing I did was to buy a screen protector for P50.00 at CDRKing. The one I got does not fully cover the front panel, but it does protect the inner display screen.

I think I will be satisfied with this model for a few months. Hope to write more articles about tablets. Imagine our last article on tablets was two years ago!

I tried it again and it seemed to work again! The image is saved to the clipboard. How do you save the image from the clipboard to a file?
